Untangle the Past, Rewrite Your Narrative, and Rediscover Inner Strength with EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy that facilitates the processing of distressing memories and traumatic experiences.

EMDR is particularly effective for individuals who have faced challenges such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief/loss, anxiety, and other forms of emotional distress. EMDR was developed to help individuals reprocess traumatic memories, reducing their emotional impact and empowering individuals to move forward with their lives.

How does EMDR work?

During an EMDR session, clients will revisit distressing memories while engaging in specific eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation.

The EMDR process helps unlock and reprocess memories that may be “stuck” in their original traumatic form. Through a series of structured phases, EMDR assists clients in integrating these memories in a healthier and more adaptive way, diminishing the emotional impact and promoting healing.
